Today we went to Alcatraz Prison and spent the morning behind bars .... he he only joking, We have not done anything wrong.
That place is not as bad as I imagined, but I still would not want to stay there , a morning was more than enough. We saw the original heads that three people used to trick the guards that they were in bed whilst they were escaping. They were never found and have been presumed dead.
There was an actual prisoner there who was selling signed copies of his book but on principle we did not purchase it or speak to him as after all he is a criminal so why should he profit from his crimes.
Tomorrow we are going to see the Holocaust Museum and I wont be posting any pictures from there.
