I was up for over fifty hours flying back from Australia and heading straight to the pub to meet up with my friends was probably not the best idea. I had a great night but the Jet Lag plus lots of vodkas and less than six hours sleep was not the best preparation before I had breakfast with my grandparents.
I went to the bakery and picked up fresh bagels and made breakfast at my grandparents new flat. I did not even know the address of it until the night before so I was happy to see them open the front door which confirmed I was at the correct address.
We had a lovely breakfast together and I attempted and failed to set up his FaceTime account so he could see me when I went back to Australia.
I then went home as my suitcase was being delivered by British Airways, met up again with some old friends. I then went back to my grandparents to say goodbye to them before I met up with my little brother to have dinner with him.
One day was not long enough to see my grandparents and my friends but I need to head off to Spain to meet up with the rest of my family.
