I had less than a week left in Manchester before I went back to Melbourne and I wanted to take my nephew out to do something special. We decided we would go and see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 in 3D and I treated him to seats in the VIP section.
The film was really good and he loved the glasses. I kept catching up pulling them up to see what the difference was which is what everyone does the first few times.
He sat in his oversized seat surrounded by popcorn and treats. We only had to go to the toilet once and he told me off in the toilet. 'Hurry up, the film is nearly finished' LOL he is so cute.
After the film had finished he wanted to see what was going on next door. We walked in and were about to take a seat when I realised this was not a kids film so we left.
This went on for another few rooms and we spent 5-10 minutes in each until I finally persuaded him that we could not watch another film as it was closing for the night.
On the way out of the complex he told me that daddy takes him into the arcade so in we headed and soon my notes became a handful of coins. We had a great time racing games, shooting aliens, playing basketball and even more racing car games.
I love taking him out and I hope he remembers our fun days. I know he still remembers when I took him skiing a year ago so hopefully this will become an annual treat as I probably loved it more than he did.
