I have moved out of the Hilton Hotel in Leeds as they keep putting me in noisy rooms and the straw that broke the camels back was getting woken up twice at 7AM by drilling on the floor above me. That incident alone would not have stopped me booking again but the response from the General Manager told me they did not care if I came or left so I left.
This is the view from the new hotel I am trying out this week. It is very quiet and being on the river means no noisy cars or trains. The room service is also a lot better than the Hilton with a wider choice and the option to eat outside in the sun.
I have booked in here for the next two weeks so hopefully this week will be as nice as last.
I have really enjoyed watching the Euros in England without having to get up in the middle of the night when I lived in Australia.
I have to dash now, got to make some dinner before the start of England vs Italy.
