My best friend in the world is getting married so I went on her future husbands stag do this weekend in Leeds. I spend the week in Leeds for work so I know the area well but I was hoping for a weekend somewhere different.
We went go karting in the morning and I finished a respectable second, bit disappointed I missed out on first place but I am putting that down to a lack of concentration and one big crash into Harvey (the Fiance) and I was just relieved he was not badly injured. He did wake up with some very large bruises the next day.
We then checked into the hotel and had some lunch before relaxing around the pool and the stream room. I have missed sitting in the steam room since I stopped using the Hilton Hotel in Leeds and did not realise the Crown Plaza had one.
In the evening we went to the sports bar for some dinner and drinks and watched Manchester United play Aston Villa before going to the comedy club for some more drinks.
I had a really good weekend, I met some really nice people and even made a new facebook friend.
