I went to the Imperial Hotel on Bourke Street to watch Manchester City play in the FA Cup final and there was a good turnout with loads of blues from England. It was a good night until the end of the game, I regret sending this tweet not asking for extra time. I also lost my Myki card on the way home to top off a bad night which you need in Melbourne to travel on the trains and trams and it had at least $30 on it.
I decided to cheer myself up on Sunday with a trip to South Melbourne market for breakfast and to buy some food to make my first dinner at home. I had to buy a pan, bowls, plates, cutlery and suddenly this treat was becoming an expensive one and a lot of work.
I had a great breakfast and purchased myself a great looking scotch fillet steak which I made for dinner and it was well worth the effort. I did not realise how close the market was to my new flat but I still missed my regular butcher from Prahan Market but I always have David Jones.
