I finally managed to pull the video from Picasso of me getting my certificate and I quickly knocked together an iMovie using the free software that came with my mac.     I took my for immigration to Australia and passed with a score of 90% and I managed to complete it under 4mins when I had 45mins. I felt a bit sorry for the people who were already doing the test when I walked into the room and then 5mins later I was gone. From this time forward,

    Monday was a public holiday in Australia to celebrate the Queens 2nd birthday.   It is quite funny as the reason for the 2nd birthday is for the British to celebrate when it is warm, the UK ignores it and Australia has the day off.   I purchased an expresso maker and some very cool glasses which make your drink hover in the middle so the cup is not hot when you pick it up. read more

    I finally received my letter telling me when I can say my pledge to Australia and officially become an Australian Citizen. It is in September but I am not allowed to call them before my welcome pack arrives, it is all very exciting, who knows what it will contain.     I could not wait any longer for my egg on toast fix and today I decided to go out and get a toaster as my grill is broke. I stumbled on an appliance that not only makes toasts but can poach or steam an egg at the same time.     I received my passport this week, note under Nationality is Australian. The reason I am not smiling is that Australia has such strict guidelines on what constitutes a valid passport picture.     Monday night I went to the Metro Club to see Lilly Allen play minus one band member who was refused entry in to Australia. Last night I saw and I can not describe how amazing that was.     Day: 780 28th May 2006 aus vs greece

    Thursday Night I went to Australia vs Greece in the MCG where the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games were held. The game was not the best , George Samaras had a bad first half and was taken off at half time, there was pressure for him to start the game as his dad was born in Melbourne and played for South Melbourne. The goal that settled the game (aus won 1-0) was worthy of the world cup, a superb volley. read more

    Tonight I went to a Young Professionals at the Melbourne Aquarium. The event was to support four charities: the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, beyondblue, Child Wise and Oxfam Australia. The only worrying thing was the fish they served whilst fish swimmed over your heads, it all seemed so wrong but its rude not to at least try everything once. read more

    Hi, Got up this morning at 6 to catch a boat to , I've had some lunch hereand a shake and I now have 2 hrs to kill before my next boat. I am catching a boat to Ao Nang and from there I will need to get a tailboat to Railay Beach where I am supposed to be able to see my hotel.
