We are having some amazing weather here at the moment in Melbourne while my family and friends freeze over there in England. This is , my place of worship and only a 15 minute train journey away. The weather today was a nice 34 Celsius which is 93.2 Fahrenheit and Sunday is expected to be the same but Monday is going to be 41 Celsius, 105.8 Fahrenheit, thankfully I am going to be at work in a nice air conditioned office. read more
We are going through a with temperatures reaching 35 Celsius which is 95 Fahrenheit to the British. On Sunday I went to Brighton beach to escape the heat and discovered I had forgotten my cream, not very clever but I managed to do 4 hours before having to escape back to my flat before I fried but the sea was so lovely and calm I could have spent all night there. On Sunday the temperature rose to 110 so getting to the beach was not even an option, so i locked myself in my flat, put the air con on and watched tv all day. Welcome Home who has been travelling around the world on her own for over seven months and she is only 16.
It reminded me of my days at sea, rowing around Prestwich Park Lake, Fairhaven Lake and pedaling many a pedalo around Spain. I even recall once taking one from the beach and into Puerto Banus port in Spain which was a funny sight amongst all the millionaire boats.

I landed in England at 12pm and by 10pm I had seen my grandparents, my friends, had dinner and been to a football match. A very busy first day , on the second day I was up,dressed and walking around Bury by 10am. My first week is over and it is great to be back working my brain again rather than drinking and chilling on the beach all day. Hi, Got up this morning at 6 to catch a boat to , I've had some lunch hereand a shake and I now have 2 hrs to kill before my next boat. I am catching a boat to Ao Nang and from there I will need to get a tailboat to Railay Beach where I am supposed to be able to see my hotel. I rented a car this weekend and drove down the coast to the which is just over an hours drive out of Melbourne City. I've just come home from the football where Melbourne was playing in the Semi-Final against Adelaide United. Last night I was making some duck and I ran out of disposable dishes so I placed the duck on some tin foil wrapped around an oven tray. When I took the duck out of the oven, all the juices ran off the tin foil and down my arm. Pain I can not describe shot up my arm and I then spent the rest of the evening putting layers of pain relief gel on. read more
