Hi, Just to clear up some confusion. I first had my visa extended for one month to take me over the xmas period. I have now just been granted a temporary 4 year residency visa.
This however does not change the fact that I am still undecided about what I am going to do after March but this visa give me more options to come back to Australia at a later date.
The fact that there are no jobs in Manchester for me and I have a great job here in Melbourne will be a factor when deciding but nothing will be done before Jan.
The bottom line is I have to wait to hear from Lonely Planet in Jan if they want me to stay or if I should then start looking for more work. And then, which country....
