It was my first cousins fortieth birthday whilst we were in Spain so all her brothers and sisters with their children were in Marbella. In addition to that her uncles, aunties and cousins and their children were also there.
We started off the celebrations with a big family Friday night dinner which was great fun sat having dinner with the sounds of the waves.
On the Saturday as the sun was setting we all met at my aunties, which is only two doors down from our place. We had drinks and canapés watching the sun set and getting lots of pictures taken. It is not often we have so many of the family all in one place and we had a stunning backdrop.
After a while we moved to Cafe del Mar so we were now right on the beach where we sat and enjoyed a night full of drinking, eating and singing.
I hope my fortieth birthday will be equally as enjoyable.
