I received my passport this week, note under Nationality is Australian. The reason I am not smiling is that Australia has such strict guidelines on what constitutes a valid passport picture. Too close, Too far away, Too dark, Red eye, Not a neutral expression, Hair across eyes, Heavy frames and the list goes on.
I had one refused as I was showing too much of my shirt collar, you can see the full guidelines here but the funniest are the baby guidelines.
Last Sunday I woke up with the worst toothache so on Tuesday I went to the dentist before work and in the afternoon I was back having root canal treatment which did not go very well and I ended up having the tooth removed. It has been very painful this week and I am still unable to open my mouth fully and I am living on Heinz tomato soup, avocado and boiled potatoes. I am going back in a few weeks to see about a replacement tooth but on a funny note, the dentist comes from Manchester who loves football :) the only downside is he supports ManUre :(
