Mac OS X Lion

manchester united kingdom

I finally got round to installing OS X Lion which was the latest release of OS X which I am sure you all know is the Mac operating system.

It only took 90 minutes and $AU32 to download and instal the 3.5GB upgrade, comparing that to a Microsoft Windows Upgrade is like comparing a Ferrari to a push bike. I love simple and painless, I even managed to pop to the pub while it was downloading :)

I know need to get my head around the 250 new features but I have started off with all the new taps, swipes and scrolls which will apparently transform how I interact with my mac. I hope in a good way but only time will tell but already I am enjoying it and I have plenty of time in Leeds this week to explore more.

It would had been nice to know that Lion no longer supports PowerPC applications but that is what VMware Fusion is for. I am hoping there are no more surprises in store for me but I did just jump in without looking first so I only have myself to blame.
