I had still not been to the beach since I arrived back in Australia early this year and as the weather looked warm I thought I would try out my local beach.
The tram stop is in front of my block flats so I packed up my lunch box, grabbed my beach chair and headed off to Port Melbourne Beach. I got started talking to a couple from Derby who were over here on a holiday and ended up getting on the wrong tram that was heading to St Kilda beach so I quickly revised my plans and instead continued to St Kilda.
It was a nice day and the beach was very quiet but the sea is quite dirty so near to the port and the next time I go to the beach I will head further out to a beach where the water is lot clearer.
