I thought we were over the heatwave but this week we have hit a new high with temperatures over 46C which is 115F, ouch.
It was like a hot oven was open and blowing steaming hot air at you. I had no choice but to hide inside my apartment with the air conditioning on.
It got so hot I had to put shorts on to walk to work and then put my jeans on when I got there as it gets cold working all day inside with the air conditioning on.
With such extreme heat and wind comes the inevitable fires and destruction that comes with that. A girl from work has been volunteering throughout the night assisting the firemen.
