Birthday Boy

manchester united kingdom

I celebrated my first birthday in England with my family in over seven years yesterday. I will not mentioned how old I am as to be honest I stopped keeping count when I moved to Australia.

I had a surprisingly good birthday yesterday as I do not usually do anything special and instead try and let the day pass without a fuss. Yesterday my mum made dinner and my brother and sister came with my brother in law and my future sister in law and I received a lot of good presents.

I got the new iPhone, oh wait I got that myself but it still counts as it was delivered on Friday. The award for present of the day goes to my brother who presented me with two stunning stainless steel espresso cups in the shape of the Nespresso capsules, it even is in the same colour as the strongest blend of coffee which is Indriya from India.

I fancy getting a few more in some of the other colours to match the other blends of coffee I drink but for now, these two will serve me well.

I should have been in London today watching Chelsea play Manchester City but thanks to Sky who moved the game to Monday I will not be able to go as I have work on Tuesday. I have however treated myself to Monday off work so I can enjoy Sunday night without having to get up at 5.45 in the morning to catch the train to Leeds.
