Invasion Day
The 26th of January is a date that causes more debate than no other public holiday around the world. Is it Australia Day? Invasion Day? Day of Morning? Who the bloody hell knows.
Labour Day
Melbourne celebrates Labour Day with a public holiday on the second Monday of March every year and in 2019 it falls on Monday 11th March giving us a long weekend.
Sandringham Beach
As Australia Day fell on a weekend the public holiday has carried across to Monday so today is a public holiday.
Spanish Update
My holiday is nearly coming to an end and I will have to say farewell to the two people who make me laugh on a daily basis, Jayden and Jax my two nephews.
Spain Update
I have had an amazing few days catching up with my nephews and my family. I have become a bit of a dab hand on the morning feeds with my baby nephew Jax.
2012 Summer Holiday
I have been in Marbella now for just over two glorious weeks and I am in my last week before I have to leave the sun and go back to England. I have managed to read a few books on my new kindle and hope to finish two more before my holiday is over.
Bolton
This was my last game at Manchester City for a few weeks which was against Bolton. I gave up my seat so a friend of a friend could sit with her boyfriend so for the first time I was not sat in my lucky seat. I was actually sat behind the pitch but I did have a very good view of the goal.
Public Holiday
This weekend in England there is a public holiday so I came out to Spain on Friday night after work. The plane was delayed for about 90 minutes so I did not get into the flat till after 4 in the morning and then bed at 6.
