The summer has just started and I am off work so I headed down to Sandringham Beach and thankfully did not get arrested for exposing my pasty white legs for the first time this summer.

The weather was unusually warm today and I had no food in my flat so I hopped onto a train to Sandringham for some food.

I have a small amount of work to do over Xmas and most companies are now closed until next year so I can spend my days enjoying myself and then work in the evening.

It has been so hot in Melbourne this week and I was afraid I would miss it all as I had work so I could not enjoy it at the beach. Thankfully it remained and it was over 40 Celsius which is 104 Fahrenheit on Saturday.

As Australia Day fell on a weekend the public holiday has carried across to Monday so today is a public holiday.
