I did not post anything last week as I was busy at work and then I felt a bit ill, nothing terminal just the usual English winter sniffles so I will combine both weeks into this one post.
I went to Liverpool last week to see Manchester City and as we arrived at Anfield my dad realised he had left my ticket in Manchester. My brother had to take a picture of it and then thanks to WhatsApp we were able to take the picture to the ticket office and get it reprinted. The game finished 1-1 which was overall the correct result even if we did have to score both of the goals.
Yesterday I went to see Manchester City play Norwich in the freezing cold. I was wrapped up in so many layers that I initially had difficulty sitting down. It was not an easy game as they put the whole team behind the ball and came for the point. They got a consolation goal if that helps :)
The front entrance of Manchester City was very festive yesterday. They had a white Christmas tree outside and covered the front entrance to make it look like it was all iced over and also managed to turn down the heating in the stadium to give that chilly effect.
