I finally received my letter telling me when I can say my pledge to Australia and officially become an Australian Citizen.
It is in September but I am not allowed to call them before my welcome pack arrives, it is all very exciting, who knows what it will contain. Maybe some vegemite or even a stubby holder LOL.
It has been a long process but I am so close to the finish line. After saying my pledge which will complete the citizenship process I can then apply for my passport, I do not know anyone else who has had to wait 7 months from passing the test to saying the pledge but I guess that is the price you pay when you live in South Yarra.
