Melbourne as usual has decided to give us a scorcher on new years eve so I spent the day at Brighton Beach which has become a bit of an Australian NYE ritual. Thankfully this year it was not as windy as previous years so I was able to spend a relaxing 5 hours chilling and listening to the waves crashing against the shore.
It is now just after 6PM and the weather is still a steaming 40.8 Celsius which is just over 104 Fahrenheit for my English readers.
