I have just realised that I have not posted anything in 2011. I know, it is a disgrace but here I am confirming that I am still here, alive and breathing.
So what exciting things have I done in January? Well, I have spent most of it on Brighton Beach and watching the blue flashing blob on Google maps as I ride the train. It becomes very hypnotic seeing it move slowly along towards your destination, as you can tell I use this a lot but generally when I going somewhere I have never been before. It is a lifesaver.
The weather in Melbourne has improved dramatically and January has been hot and sunny so plenty of weekends at the beach. I have just started a new project at work, nothing ground breaking just some e-commerce integration work but it is keeping me busy.
I have nothing planned for February, I have made no plans to go to the tennis this year and I was going to watch it on TV but my 50 inch plasma broke so I have not seen any yet. It is hard enough trying to watch the football on my spare tiny screen but tennis is impossible.
I am taking the loss of my TV very badly. What I miss most is not being able to play FIFA on my PS3 but once I make a decision on what I will do for the next 6 months I can decide on my next visual display.
