I have been in Kantiang Bay which is located towards the southern end of Koh Lanta for four days with mixed weather. It is a much quieter, more secluded beach than Klong Dao or Long Beach and boasts some of Koh Lanta's best soft golden sand which stretches for nearly 2 kilometres.
I have found a nice place to eat on the beach called, Same Same But Different . It is a Thai beach-side dining in a beautiful setting with fabulous sunsets. The is the view from my table and to eat whilst sheltering from the heat and feeling the soft cold sand between your toes is amazing.
Kantiang Bay creates a perfect shape to keep the Andaman Sea flat calm with crystal clear water. Behind the road there is a mountain range which just adds to the breathtaking scenery to the bay.
