FA Cup Stoke

manchester united kingdom

I woke up this morning to a blanket of snow covering Manchester and we had an early game at Stoke in the FA Cup. We tried to get my dads car out of the garage and successfully got it off the drive but we live on a quiet cul de sac so the snow was so thick that we could not go any further.

Luckily my parents had to abandon the other car around the corner as they could not get home last night so that was already on a main road. We checked the news and saw the game was still on so we wrapped up warm and headed down to Stoke hoping the game would go ahead.

It did go ahead and what should have been a comfortable game after the amount of chances we had in the first half became a frustrating game as anything can happen in the FA Cup.

When Peter Crouch came on I feared the worst but we stuck in there and kept creating chances until Pablo Zabaleta slotted in the eighty fifth minute to give Manchester City a one nil result which means we are still in the hat.

Some great songs sung today, my two favourites today Were you crying when Yaya scored? and Tony Pulis, he wears the club shop.
