Today was Australia Day and I made good use of the good weather and headed to my local beach. I wish I had gone further out as Port Melbourne Beach is a bit smelly and because of all the cruise ships there the water is not very clean.
To add to that the beach is now no smoking so I do not think I will be going back there again.
In the shops you can find anything you want with the Australia flag on, I saw a women in the shops with an Australia umbrella attached to her head. Even Kleenex have brought out a special edition Australia Day box to commemorate the day.
