I finally made it to the Etihad Stadium to see Manchester City beat Liverpool by two goals to one.
Stevan Jovetic scored either side of half-time to punish Liverpool, who dominated much of the first half without creating the opportunities to go with their excellent work-rate and approach work. The cherry on the top was Agüero scoring the third.
This means Manchester City, the Premier League champions have now two wins from two games.
