Happy New Year and I've had a busy end to 2005. New Years Eve I had some people over at mine and we watched some fireworks from my balcony which overlooks the river where they set them off.
Birthday Weekend
Thanks everyone for your cards and phone calls. Friday night I celebrated my birthday by going to the pub at lunch for drinks with people from work then at 4.30 we went upstairs onto the roof at work and had some more drinks with the same crowd plus a few more. Then we headed into the city and went to a bar and sat there till about 2am, also drinking. Are you picking up the theme here? Jodie came down and met some people from work but I dont think it was her scene, i.e to much drinking. Then came Nev, who is married to Tania who works for LP. He arrived from a xmas party with a scouser so the drinking then got worse, lol.
Home Cinema
Today my new plasma arrived and wow it is so big, it seems size does matter in this case. It is a shame that City are on Monday morning and not Sunday but I am going to try and wake up to watch it on my big screen.
My Bike
This weekend I purchased a bike, all I can say is I think it looks pretty cool but I cant tell you what to do with the 21 gears.

Melbourne Spiegeltent
I went to the spiegeltent tent last night, its really cool. It is like a circus meets a nightclub, crazy stuff going on in a really nice tent. You dont even realise your in a tent.
Melbourne Victory
I went to the football on Sunday, the sun was shining and I walked along the river to the stadium which made a change from Moss Side.
New Haircut
I was quoted in the newspaper today, the Herald Sun about a comment made by the Former chief commissioner about everyone should have a parachute in flats and offices in case of a terrorist attack. So my reaction , on page 3 was as follows. You can read the full story here
